“I THOUGHT I WAS HALLUCINATING”

That’s what runners were saying when they came across a supermarket aisle at the 50km mark of The Kepler Challeneg, NZ’s premiere ultra marathon.

When runners were hitting the wall, they hit a supermarket aisle.

As naming sponsor, FreshChoice SuperMarkets wanted to do more than slap their logo ON the start line. They wanted to help runners finish. So they opened the Aid Aisle, stocked with everything from electrolytes, hits of sugar or salt, to Vaseline, bandages, and even fresh socks.
